There is probably not a more comprehensive theme in the Bible than this.“Both John the Baptist and Jesus promoted and taught the message of the Kingdom. Jesus instructed His disciples to teach others about this fascinating, spiritual government and to pray to His Father, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven.” This is the institution of which the prophet Isaiah prophesied, saying “Of the increase of his… government there will be no end.” Much of Jesus’ teachings center on a life lived under His Kingship, and establishing His Kingdom rule and reign on earth.
